AC Hotel Huntsville Downtown

Great pet friendly location with new upscale interiors and friendly staff. I think my only knock on it would be the overnight parking fee. The lot behind the hotel feels unfinished and there's plenty of street parking nearby. Otherwise a good spot and I would consider staying again if I was in town.

The hotel and staff are very nice along with being a great place to stay while doing anything at the Von Braun Center. Beware of the homeless that sleep at the park across the street. We visited the park as well with many other people and they never bothered us, but just be mindful that they are there. We would still definately stay at this hotel again.

I am a Marriott gold member and was more than pleased with my stay at this AC Hotel. The surrounding area is absolutely lovely, super walkable and safe. I walked through the park to dinner and to the grocery store and felt completely safe as a solo traveling female. I used the valet service and was also pleased. I had seen questionable reviews about it but I had nothing but an outstanding experience, you could easily request your vehicle and tip through an online software and my car was always out and ready before I even got downstairs! The rooms are spacious and very modern and clean. They are equipped with mini fridges that work very well unlike standard hotel fridges. Beds were comfortable. They have a fitness center that was also spacious and clean, several cardio machines, full weight rack, and a multi functional machine for strength training. I did not leverage the downstairs bar and meal service area but it was also beautifully done with modern features and a very sleek clean feel to it. The front desk was amazing, I was greeted every time upon entering & anyone I spoke to was very helpful. Can’t wait to come back & stay again!

Fantastic stay! Who made it great...Hayden! He's what is known as true brand ambassador! As a TE Bonvoy member I stay in Marriotts all over the world and he would make any hotel in the Marriott family proud to have him as the first person you meet when checking-in or needing assistance. The hotel was great. Modern euro-style rooms, excellent location, easy parking, really nice city views over the park and walking distance to cool restaurants and bars. If you're planning a trip to Huntsville, this is your place!

Great, new hotel. The location was great with a large park across the street and an easy walk over to this historic canal and up to the downtown area. The staff was very nice and pleasant. Sam was especially helpful and very nice. The rooms were very nice. I am a sucker for hardwood floors (or laminate- basically NOT carpet!). the rooms were a good size and clean. The gym was clean and a good size as well. One warning, if you self park, the lot in the back you have to tell the front desk and get a parking pass. Otherwise you get an annoying $40 ticket. I called back in after checking out and Sam took care of it quickly- again- she was awesome! Great hotel, will stay here again.

I stay regularly at AC Hotels due to the familiarity of the layout, amenities and rooms. This location is slightly larger and well maintained.

Outstanding hotel, beautiful public rooms, and outstanding guest rooms. I had a corner room with floor to ceiling, windows and a view of the city. The decor is nice but a little bit on the stark side. Very much in keeping with today’s hotel schemes. Service was friendly and attentive. I do think the rates are too high for this hotel but that seems to be the way things are going these days. I recommend the AC hotel if you’re in Huntsville.

Great hotel for those traveling in a group or for events. Walking distance to nearby restaurants and convention center is right next door. Up to date rooms and amazing view from the 6th floor.
